IC-IMPACTS Signs Statement of Cooperation with Indian Steelmaking and Mining Giant – RINL
IC-IMPACTS is delighted to announce that it has signed a Statement of Cooperation with Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL), India’s state-run steelmaking and mining company during the visit of a high-level delegation from India led by India’s Minister of Steel Beni Prasad Verma. The agreement, signed before BC Premier Christy Clark, BC’s International Trade Minister Teresa Wat and India’s Minister of Steel, sets the stage for an innovative partnership to support research, technology transfer, and collaboration among Canadian and Indian research, industry and government sectors.
IC-IMPACTS is very thankful to the BC Provincial Government, the Canada India Foundation, and the Indian Ministry of Steel for the creation of this partnership development opportunity which has led to such a productive outcome for IC-IMPACTS.
