Dr. Stewart Fast has been with the Network of Centres of Excellence as Senior Program Manager since early 2018. Prior to joining the NCE, Stewart was Research Director for the Institute for Science, Society and Policy at the University of Ottawa where he managed multidisciplinary research projects and advanced collaborations with internal and external stakeholders. Dr. Fast holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Ottawa on social acceptance of renewable energy technologies and has worked extensively with industry, community organizations and policy-makers on energy, environmental and natural resource management topics.
